Mr. Zhengqun FANG, Sinopec US Investor Relation Representative, started his current position since 2004. During the timeframe from 2000 to 2003, he worked as IR manager in Beijing after the Company’ listed in Hong Kong, New York and London. From 1993 to 2000, he took lots of different positions such as crude oil and oil products analyst, marketing consultants, and M & A etc. 1990- 1993, he pursued his master degree in China Petroleum University majoring geochemistry. He has been severing for Sinopec over 16 years up to now, with extensive working experience and broadly background knowledge for China’s petroleum industry.
Xiaomin Chen
Mr. Xiaomin Chen is currently a managing partner of DeHeng Chen, LLC in New York City and global partner of DeHeng Law Offices based in Beijing. He was admitted to the bars of New York State, the US Supreme Court, the US Court of International Trade, and the People’s Republic of China; He is an arbitrator of China Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (“CITEAC”) and a case arbitrator of ICC International Court of Arbitration.
Mr. Chen has served as counsel to many prestigious clients. He was retained by the State Council Information Office as the chief legal advisor for Experience China 2000, the most important comprehensive cultural event ever held by the Chinese government in the United States. He is also a legal counsel for numerous trade, professional, and charitable organizations in the U.S. In 2008, he was awarded the title “Empire State Counsel” by the New York State Bar Association for his pro bono services.
Besides his professional achievements, Mr. Chen is well published on various legal subjects.
David D. Lin
David D. Lin is Of Counsel at DeHeng Chen, LLC, where he has a diversified practice. He has experience on a variety of cases including commercial disputes, internal company investigations, white collar criminal defense, and regulatory inquiries.Mr. Lin is admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. He has published many articles in the New York Law Journal about securities fraud, copyright law, and federal arbitration.
Mr. Lin received his J.D. with High Honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2003, where he was Managing Editor of The George Washington Law Review. After law school, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Paul J. Kelly, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. He received his B.A. from OberlinCollege
Bin Li
Mr. Li is the President, CIO and Managing Partner at Yellow River Capital. Prior to co-founding Yellow River, from 2008 to May 2009, Mr. Li was a Managing Partner at Ping Capital Management, a hedge fund in New York and Shanghai, where he and his partners launched a RMB Trust Fund with CITIC. From 2002 to 2008, Mr. Li co-founded and acted as Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Entropy Partners, LLC, a hedge fund that traded $80 million for Paloma Partners and ran managed accounts for institutional and private clients.
Prior to forming Entropy, starting in 1998, Mr. Li co-founded and acted as Chairman and CEO of Tradetrek.com, director of FXtrek. com and AAStocks.com, three financial website companies in which he now remains a passive shareholder. AAStocks.com is currently the most successful financial website in Hong Kong. Between 1993 and 1999, Mr. Li was successively Vice President, Head of Quantitative Analysis Group for Merrill Lynch in New York, Director, Head of Quantitative Trading Strategies Group for SBC Warburg Dillon Read in New York, and Executive Director, Head of Global Quantitative Trading Strategies for UBS in Stamford, CT.
Mr. Li was a research scientist at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences from1992 to 1993. He earned a Ph.D. in physics from New York University in 1992 and a B.S. in physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1985. Mr. Li has spoken at many quantitative finance conferences and written a book and several papers on related topics. He holds four U.S. patents for quantitative finance methodologies.
Yong Cai
Yong Cai is currently the portfolio manager of Midway Group, a mortgage derivative hedge fund located in NYC. Before joining Midway in 2008, Yong managed the mortgage derivative trading desk at Credit-Suisse since 2005, and held similar position at Bank of America Securities for 5 years since 2000. He started his wall-street career in 1993 at Prudential Securities as mortgage researcher/modeller, and later spent 3 years at Lehman mortgage research before joining BOA. Yong graduated from Beijing University in 1986, received his M.S. in EE and Ph.D in physics from Michigan State University in 1991, and spent 2 years at Rutgers University as Post-doc researcher in Physics.
Yvonne Y.F. Chan
A partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the Investment Funds Group, Yvonne Y. F. (Hons.) from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand in 1982, Ms. Chan worked as a law clerk with the High Court and Court of Appeal of New Zealand. Ms. Chan has worked in the firm’s Beijing, Hong Kong and New York offices. She previously served as General
Counsel-North Asia of Glaxo China Limited in Hong Kong.
Ms. Chan is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. She is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York. She is also qualified as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand.
Eugene Xu (徐幼于)
Eugene Xu joined Deutsche Bank in 2000. At Deutsche Bank, Eugene is a managing director in the ABS and Correlation Trading since February 2007. Before joining the Trading, he was the Head of Deutsche Bank's Residential Real Estate Asset Backed Securities (ABS) Research. He and his team have produced research works on subprime mortgage and manufactured housing securitizations, primary and secondary market opportunities that are sought by investors and issuers, as well as Deutsche Bank's trading desk. His recent work regarding the impact of the US housing market on the subprime mortgage credit performance and home equity ABS was featured in Bloomberg's top news and was extensively quoted by Barron's and the Wall Street Journal. Besides his work on the US products, Eugene has also worked on non-US mortgage assets such as Australian, Hong Kong and Mexican mortgages. Eugene was also one of the key members of the Deutsche Bank team that brought into fruition the first securitizations of Taiwanese residential mortgage assets.
Before joining Deutsche Bank, Eugene worked for Credit Suisse First Boston as a Vice President in its Asset Securitization Department, where he was responsible for quantitative analysis, the strategies for subordinate ABS as well as other research projects. Prior to this, Eugene worked in the Mortgage Backed Securities Research in Chase Securities from 1996 to 1997, and the Mortgage Backed Securities Research in Smith Barney from 1993 to 1996. Eugene also worked as a Research Member for the Institute for Advanced Study, in Princeton, New Jersey. Eugene holds a BSc and an MSc in Mathematics from Fudan University in Shanghai, China and holds a PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Song Jin
Song Jin, a China-born and U.S. trained bilingual veteran with over 10 years experiences in private equity, management consulting, and banking industries, is now working at a boutique private equity firm in NY where he manages private a equity fund and value-adding services, including overseeing firm's investment strategy, analyzing lead opportunities as well as investment across a broad range of industry segments, and negotiating and monitoring of existing investments in the funds. Prior to that, Song was with Deloitte Consulting where he has worked with a number of world leading financial services companies; focused in the banking, investment management and securities industries, experience crosses strategic, operational, performance improvement and merger integration consulting. Song is a frequent participant at industry conferences where he speaks on topics relating to private equity, financial reform and regulation, and risk management, etc.
Song holds a bachelor's degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University, a Ph.D. from Singapore's Nanyang Technological University and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
